Speech Only ($ 225.00)

Community and Competitive Speech: January 15 - January 19, 2008
Speech Conference participants will have the opportunity to complete two (2) of the following Majors: Platform Speaking, Interpretation, Apologetics, Extemporaneous, Community Speaking, Impromptu, Multimedia Communications. They will also enter in the tournament as either a triathlete, pentathlete, or decathlete.

Debate Only ($ 225.00)

Debate Conference: January 20, 5:00 PM - January 24 3:00 PM
Workshop Offerings: TP, LD, and Parli workshops are available to ALL MASTERS Debate Conference participants.
Prerequisites: All TP and LD debaters are required to complete 8 full rounds of debate on the current NCFCA debate topic (TP or LD), 4 Aff and 4 Neg, prior to MASTERS. These rounds may be in tournament competition or classroom or club practice. To participate in the Parli debate track at MASTERS, student must either (1) have attended the MASTERS Debate Conference before, (2) be 16 years old, or (3) compete in a style of debate other than Team Policy or Lincoln-Douglas Value.

Both Weeks ($ 400.00)

Coaches' Clinic ($ 45.00)

Coaching Clinic: January 21, 2008
Interested in hearing about future plans for CFC programs and events? Hoping to pick the brains of alumni and experienced coaches? Wondering how to build your Chapter Program? Like to pick up some debate tips? As a parent, teacher, or coach, you probably have questions, concerns, and queries that have been piling up over the last year. At the Coaching Clinic, we're preparing workshops, panels of experts, and discussion forums where you can ask questions, learn about exciting new CFC programs, discover more speaking opportunities for your students, and share your own experiences and ideas. Workshop and discussion topics include coaching Speech and Debate; starting a Chapter; the Young Speakers Guild; training national competitors; building new programs; handling growth; tournament administration; networking with community organizations; judging philosophies; and more.

Meal Plan ($ 50.00)

Meal Packages are available for purchase for parents whose children are registered for the conference. NOTE: if you are registering for either the Coaches' Clinic or a student track of MASTERS, you should order your meal package on that registration form.

Host Housing ($ 0.00)

Limited host housing is provided for this conference as needed and in order of request. Guests may need their own bedding and linens. We regret that we may be unable to house families together, or to accomodate individuals with special needs. If your travel plans extend your stay beyond conference dates, please make other arrangements for the additional nights.
